Salesforce Developer / Architect - Remote
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer / Architect to support UCSF Human Resources (HR) strategic initiatives focused on improving customer experience through the development, enhancement, and administration of solutions on the Salesforce platform.
The ideal candidate will bring deep Salesforce development and architecture expertise, particularly across Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Agentforce AI, Salesforce Data Cloud, and AWS Telephony/Amazon Connect integrations.
The role requires the ability to architect complex solutions, integrate multiple enterprise systems, automate service workflows, and collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, implement, and support scalable Salesforce solutions.
Architect complex Service Cloud solutions integrating multiple enterprise systems.
Develop solutions using Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Batch Apex, LWC, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.
Build robust Lightning applications for Service Console using Flow, Screen Flow, actions, and recommendations.
Design record-triggered and auto-launched flows to automate customer-service workflows.
Build and deploy Agentforce AI solutions using autonomous agents, the Agentforce trust layer, prompt templates, and flows.
Leverage Salesforce Data Cloud to unify customer profiles and connect enterprise data for AI-driven decision-making.
Integrate Salesforce Service Cloud with Amazon Connect / AWS telephony ecosystems to support voice-channel experiences.
Design and implement integrations using REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Streaming API, Change Data Capture, Platform Events, and Force.com APIs.
Support MuleSoft integrations and ODS-related development.
Translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Create and document business requirements, use cases, and test cases.
Work closely with project managers, team leads, business analysts, stakeholders, partners, and vendor teams.
Assess resources and effort required to deliver large strategic initiatives.
Follow secure software development practices and Salesforce architecture best practices.
